How to use the uncoated cotton canvas

The uncoated canvas of cotton allows you to make your own desired priming in a free choice of colors. After all, not every artist prefers a light primer, but may want to elicit unexpected luminosity from the colors with a dark background. A greenish primer, on the other hand, has been popular since the Renaissance for portraits to soften red hues.
